Short Trip - 1½ to 2 hours depending on the river flow. This river trip is known as the "horseshoe" or "toob loop". It is called this because the river is actually shaped like a horseshoe. With our convenient location in the middle of the "horseshoe", we have the shortest walk and there is no shuttle required. Maricopa River Rides is located at the beginning of the Horseshoe and in which you walk to the river and hop in for the float of your life.
Long Trips- We offer a variety of trips and are able to offer any combination of put in and take outs so that you can explore and enjoy different parts of the Beautiful Guadalupe River. Shanty Tubes offers trips that are:

Kanubes- A 2 man tube with a bottom that is shaped like a canoe. We are the only outfitter on the "Horseshoe" that offers kanubes.

Rafting - Raft the rapids on the Beautiful Guadalupe River in one of our rafts. We have rafts that accommodate 2-10 people. The rafts can also be rented for fishing trips. We recommend one of our long trips down river to get the most of this adventure.

Kayaking - Be adventurous and enjoy the exciting rapids on one of our kayaks. We have ocean kayaks or also known as sit-on-top kayaks. For this invigorating and active ride, we also recommend one of the longer trips.

Canoeing - Navigate down the Guadalupe River and enjoy this nature ride on one of our canoes. Our canoes hold 2-3 persons.
These trips begin at the horseshoe and continue down the river to one of our designated take-outs. We then shuttle you and your party back to Maricoap River Rides.
